Selena Gomez is feeling the love by none other than Britney Spears, who shouted out Selena Wednesday to compliment her on one of her tattoos.
“I’m not really into tattoos but dear God … how beautiful is this [rose]????,” Britney raved while sharing a photo of Selena’s giant tattoo on her upper back. The pink rose looks like it was painted using watercolors, with the leaves appearing to drip paint down her back.
Britney said Selena’s unique ink “has inspired me to get another one.” She did not specify what kind of tattoo she wants.
Once Selena singer learned who was admiring her body art, she quickly jumped into the comment section and gushed, “I love you forever and always.”
Of course, this sweet exchange has fans hoping the two ladies collaborate on something or, even better, get matching tattoos. Selena told Live with Kelly & Ryan in January that she has “multiple tattoos with people who have honestly left a significant mark on my life.” Among her tattoo twins are Cara Delevigne and Julia Michaels.
In addition to tattoo talk, Britney looked back at her Crossroads film and used it to slam her mother, Lynne Spears.
Sharing a clip on her Instagram of her acting out the scene where her character, Lucy, learns her mother never wanted her, she wrote, “When I realized my whole journey to find my mom … and she doesn’t want to see me.” And while she finds the story arc “PRETTY F***ING SAD,” Britney declared, “I mean it’s actually less worse than what my mom did to me in real life.”
Britney previously claimed her mother used her for “fame and attention” and that she “worshipped” her little sister, Jamie Lynn.
