Lance Bass-produced “The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story” debuts today on YouTube Premium

Mark Weiss/WireImageThe new Lance Bass-produced documentary about disgraced boy band mogul Lou Pearlman debuts on YouTube Premium today.

The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story features interviews with the members of *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, O-Town and other groups who rose to stardom thanks to Pearlman. While Pearlman is credited with their success, he also swindled them out of their hard-earned money.

Lance’s *NSYNC band mates JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick recount their own experiences with Lou, as do Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, O-Town’s Ashley Parker Angel, and Aaron Carter.

Lance’s mom, Diane Bass, and Justin Timberlake’s mom, Lynn Bomar Harless, are also featured in the film.

Pearlman was eventually convicted of fraud and money laundering, among other charges, and died in prison in 2016 while serving a 25-year sentence for multiple felonies.
