“I AM READY”: Adele's pretty happy about that Spice Girls reunion

Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagicAdele may be one of the biggest music stars in the world, but she’s still a Spice Girls super fan — so you can imagine her delight at hearing that the chart-topping British group are reuniting for a U.K. stadium tour.

On Instagram, the singer posted a photo of herself as a young girl, pumping her fist and posing in front of what we assume is her bedroom wall, which is completely covered with photos of the Spice Girls. “HA! This is how I feel right now! I AM READY,” she captioned the pic.

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell acknowledged Adele’s fandom by reposting the photo to her own Instagram feed.

You may recall that when Adele was on Carpool Karaoke in 2016, she talked all about how much she loved the Spice Girls, and also belted out their hit “Wannabe.” As the British paper The Mirror points out, during her most recent tour that same year, she did an impromptu cover of “Spice Up Your Life.”

Guess we know who’ll be front row when the tour kicks off next June.
