At long last, Kelly Clarkson announces the Meaning of Life tour

Atlantic RecordsSome people wait a lifetime for a moment like this: Kelly Clarkson has finally announced a tour in support of her 2017 album, Meaning of Life.

The trek, Kelly’s first headlining tour in three years, will kick off January 24 in Oakland, CA and is currently scheduled to wrap up March 30.  Kelly’s opening acts will include one of country music’s hottest young stars, Kelsea Ballerini, and Brynn Cartelli, the #TeamKelly member who’s the most recent winner of The Voice.

Pre-sale ticket access starts Monday, September 17th for American Express Card Members.  The general public on-sale date is September 24 —  not coincidentally, the same day Kelly returns to TV for season 15 of The Voice.

Kelly’s offering fans four different VIP experiences on this tour, from access to a private lounge with VIP photo ops, to the chance to sit in Kelly’s big red chair from The Voice, to the opportunity to watch the concert at either a bar right against the stage, or from a special pit in front of the stage.  You’ve got to be 21 for the bar experience, though. You can purchase these experiences starting Monday at 10 a.m. local time via CIDEntertainment.com.

In a statement, Kelly says, “Meaning of Life is the album I always wanted to make and I am so excited to finally be able to tour it! Even while recording it, I couldn’t wait for people to experience the music live, to not only hear it, but feel it. It has taken almost a year of planning, and I can’t wait to see y’all on the road!”
