Rita ZimmermannClean Bandit has announced their 2018 North American “I Miss You” tour, named after their new single with Julia Michaels.
The spring trek will kick off March 26 in Vancouver and wrap up on April 28 in Orlando, Florida. Tickets are on sale now at CleanBandit.co.uk/natour.
The band’s new track featuring Julia, “I Miss You,” is out now. The two acts met in Los Angeles over the summer and got together shortly after for a writing session. This song was inspired by Julia’s own personal heartbreak.
Clean Bandit’s cellist, Grace Chatto, says in statement, “It’s a simple song, about the unbelievable pain of breaking up with someone you love. It was an honor to work with Julia Michaels.”
The accompanying video for the song features the band and Julia all dressed in red as they wander through deserted landscapes. Clean Bandit, also featuring brothers Luke and Jack Patterson, directed the visual themselves.
“Making the video in the desert outside of Los Angeles was very special — we got to know each other better in the blazing heat,” Grace says. “We experimented with special effects and train tracks.”
Clean Bandit and Julia are set to perform the song on the MTV EMAs on November 12.
