Mert & MarcusTaylor Swift hasn’t put out a new album in three years — her next, Reputation, comes out November 10 — but she’s the leading nominee for this year MTV EMAs, or European Music Awards.
On the strength of her comeback single and video “Look What You Made Me Do,” Taylor has nabbed six nods, including Best Artist, Best Video, and Best U.S. Act.
Taylor’s friend Shawn Mendes is the next most-nominated artist with five nods, while her pals and collaborators Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar have four nominations each.
This year, the Best Male and Best Female categories have been combined into one Best Artist category. Besides Taylor, the nominees are Ariana Grande, Ed, Kendrick, Miley Cyrus and Shawn. Fans can vote for their favorites at MTVEMA.com.
The 2017 MTV EMAs will air live from the SSE Arena, Wembley in London on November 12. Here are the nominees:
