Calvin Harris, Chainsmokers among “Forbes'” Electronic Cash Kings of 2017

Conor McDonnellCalvin Harris’ latest achievement should give him “Feels” — he’s the top-earning DJ in the world.

That’s according to Forbes, which puts the Scottish artist at #1 on its Electronic Cash Kings 2017 list.  Calvin is tops for the sixth straight year, with earnings of $48.5 million.  That’s in part thanks to his six-figure paychecks for each Las Vegas performance, as well as his fees to perform at festivals, which are in the seven-figure range.

Calvin also knows how to score pop hits, such as his latest, “Feels,” and his recent Rihanna collaboration “This Is What You Came For.”  So what if he had to split the royalties with his ex, Taylor Swift?

The Chainsmokers come in third on the list, with earnings of $38 million.  Other top deejays and electronic acts who are raking it in include Diplo, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Zedd.

The list is based on earnings from June 2016 to June 2017.
