Austin Swift has landed a role on the CMT show, Still the King, opposite Billy Ray Cyrus. He plays Tyler, the manager of a Nashville venue called The Bluebird Café.

In a sneak peek featured on Entertainment Tonight, Austin has a snarky exchange with Billy Ray’s character, Vernon Brown, a former country superstar of the 90s.  Vernon’is trying to land a gig at the venue, but Tyler’s a tough sell. He doesn’t even recognize Vernon at first.

“All right, let me help you out here. I had a huge monster hit back in the early 90s,” Vernon says. “Ring any bells?”

“You’re the guy with the mullet,” Tyler responds.

Austin’s episode of Still the King airs Tuesday, July 25 at 10:30 p.m. on CMT.
