Ed Sheeran teaming with Amnesty International for concert supporting refugees

Greg WilliamsEd Sheeran is teaming up with Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds for their global concert series, Give a Home. The concert aims to unite people in solidarity with refugees.

“We all deserve a home, not just the memory of one,” Ed says in a statement. “That’s why I’m proud to join Amnesty International and Sofar’s Give a Home campaign in raising awareness for the global refugee crisis and funds for Amnesty’s important work.”

Ed’s Give a Home show will take place in Washington, D.C. on September 20 — the same day 1,000 musicians will perform Give a Home concerts in more than 60 countries worldwide. The exact location will remain a secret until closer to the day.

Fans have until September 10 to apply for tickets through SofarSounds.com/GiveaHome.
