Ariana Grande's mom: “I stand with you all in the face of evil”

Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Coburn CommunicationsAriana Grande’s mom Joan, who helped get fans to safety the night of the Manchester bombing, has now shared her thoughts on Twitter regarding the terrorist attack.

In a message posted on Monday, a week after the bombing that left 22 people dead, Joan wrote, “This past week I have spent in reflective thought, prayer & deep sorrow. I join my daughter in extending my help and services to all those affected by the diabolical act of terror which occurred in Manchester!”

She added, “My heart goes out to all the victims: those who lost their lives, those injured, those recovering & all survivors of that night, along with the families & friends whose grief knows no bounds. I stand with you all in the face of evil & we stand together to never let it rule our lives.”

As Monday was Memorial Day, Joan also offered her thanks to “those who are & were in service protecting our freedoms every day all over the world!”

Ariana has already announced that she plans to return to Manchester soon to stage a benefit concert, and has offered her help to anyone affected by the bombing.
