Dick Clark ProductionsWhich artist do you love imitating the most? The 2017 Billboard Music Awards has teamed up with the instant music video app musical.ly to launch a new fan-voted category: Top Covered Artist.
The nominees include The Chainsmokers, Noah Cyrus, DJ Khaled, Julia Michaels, and Hailee Steinfeld. You can cast your votes by posting a video on musical.ly covering either The Chainsmokers’ “Paris,” Noah’s “Make Me (Cry),” DJ Khaled’s “Shining” featuring Beyonce and Jay Z, Julia’s “Issues,” or Hailee’s “Most Girls.”
Voting ends Saturday, May 20 at 3 p.m. PT. The votes will be tallied and the winner will be the artist that totals the most covers of their eligible song during the voting period. The winning artist will be announced during the T-Mobile Magenta Carpet Live at BBMAs, which will stream on Twitter Sunday, May 21 at 6 p.m. ET.
The 2017 Billboard Music Awards air live, coast-to-coast, from Las Vegas May 21 on ABC, starting at 8 p.m. ET. The Chainsmokers and Drake lead the pack of nominees, with 22 apiece.
