Gigi Hadid/VersusFollowing his 50 Shades of Grey hit with Taylor Swift, Zayn Malik seems to be prepping some new solo music.
The former One Direction member posted a brief clip of a song on Twitter, along with a graphic of a poodle dancing under a hand holding a bone that reads “excited.” The music is instrumental and sounds Indian in style. “Lil taster…more to come,” he tweeted.
When a fan replied, “Taster? B***H NEW MUSIC?” Zayne responded, “Really no need for derogatory terminology like that …I’m excited too though.”
Zayn released his debut solo album Mind of Mine just under a year ago. It debuted at #1 in the U.K. and the U.S.
In other Zayn news, he’s starring in the new Versus Versace spring/summer 2017 campaign, and was photographed by someone who knows him very well: his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. The photos were shot at L.A’s legendary Chateau Marmont hotel, and are described as, “raw, honest and revealing study of relationships, friendships and the passions of the Versus tribe. “
In a statement, Zayn says, “It was sick to work with Versus. Dontella is a G. It was extra special that Gigi shot the campaign. Looking forward to following up with my Versus collection that drops in June.”
