Madonna’s official store now includes several Like a Prayer t-shirts, a pillow, rosary beads and tote bag. One of the t-shirts features “Saint Madonna” in a stained glass window, while another features a sketched design of the Madonna image.
Another tee, as well as the pillow and tote, feature a 30th anniversary edition of the album cover.
A signed Like a Prayer vinyl album will randomly be included in one of the order placed before 11:59 p.m. PST Friday.
Like a Prayer, Madonna’s fourth studio album, was released March 21, 1989. It spawned the hit title track, as well as “Express Yourself” and “Cherish.”
Earlier this month, Madonna celebrated the 30th anniversary of the title track’s release and reminded everyone of the controversy the music video stirred back then.
“30 years ago today I released ‘Like a Prayer’ and made a video that caused so much controversy because I kissed a black saint and danced in front of burning crosses!” she wrote on Instagram. “I also made a commercial with PEPSI that was banned because my video was seen as inappropriate. ?????? Happy Birthday to Me and Controversy!”
