Ariana Grande‘s performance at the MTV VMAs tonight will be simply divine.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the singer’s performance at the telecast, taking place at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, will feature her singing “God Is a Woman,” along with a “diverse” group of over 50 female dancers. According to the sources, the performance will be “nothing short of God-like,” and “exactly what the VMAs are made of.” Ariana is promoting her new album Sweetener, which came out on Friday.
Meanwhile, despite MTV’s announcement that Cardi B will “open” tonight’s VMAs, word is she’s not actually going to perform. According to TMZ, Cardi will do a monologue or a skit; she won’t be delivering one of her hits. And you can forget about seeing her baby girl, Kulture — TMZ reports the infant won’t be making the trek to New York with her mom.
The MTV Video Music Awards air tonight at 9 p.m. ET live from New York City.
