Mert & MarcusIn recent days, Taylor Swift‘s tweets have mostly focused on her upcoming album, Reputation, its singles and its video. But like many artists across all musical genres, she’s now been moved to react to the mass shootings in Las Vegas.
“There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families,” she tweeted.
The shooting, the worst in modern U.S. history, has left more than 50 dead and more than 400 injured. The shooter, identified as Steven Paddock, opened fire on 22,000 fans enjoying a country music festival on the Vegas Strip. The gunfire started as country superstar Jason Aldean was performing. Paddock is dead; police believe he killed himself.
