Jamie-James MedinaHarry Styles is a huge fan of the legendary rock band Fleetwood Mac, and specifically their front woman, Stevie Nicks. He even got to sing with Stevie, who he calls “The Queen of Everything,” a few months ago in L.A. So it’s no wonder that when he was asked to do a cover song for BBC Radio 1’s popular Live Lounge series, he chose one by his favorite band.
Harry did a version of “The Chain,” from Fleetwood Mac’s zillion-selling, Grammy-winning album Rumours. He told BBC Radio 1, “I’m just such a massive fan of them as a band and of the music. I feel like everyone in the band sings and it kind of felt like something we could cover vocally so we should try it and then we really loved it.”
Harry also played his singles “Two Ghosts” and “Sign of the Times” during his Live Lounge session. He was a last-minute fill-in on the show, because today’s scheduled act, The Killers, couldn’t make it to the U.K. due to Hurricane Irma.
