A source tells the New York Daily News reports that Britney’s team has had “secret discussions” with TV and advertising execs about plans for Super Bowl LII (52), which takes place February 4 in Minneapolis.
An insider tells the paper, “Britney has made it clear to her team that it is a dream to perform at a Super Bowl. She has the hits package and appeal to be a headliner.”
Sources tell the paper that the success of Britney’s Las Vegas residency, which will wrap up at the end of 2017, has proven that she’s a viable choice to perform at one of the most-watched events on the planet.
Last year, when asked if she’d be interested in the gig by BBC Radio 1, Britney said, “Yes, I would probably do that.”
