Jamie-James MedinaIn his new single “Sign of the Times,” Harry Styles sings about “breaking through the atmosphere,” and he does just that in the song’s newly released video.
In the clip, filmed on the picturesque Isle of Skye off the coast of Scotland, a windblown Harry walks around, looking moody in a long military-style coat. Then, he levitates and starts flying around the island — over trees, mountains, and the coastline. At one point, he actually runs across the water. At the end of the clip, he rises even higher into the air, heading for the clouds.
The effects appear to have been done by suspending the singer from a crane or helicopter, but all trace of it, and any wires, have been removed.
“Sign of the Times” is the first single from Harry’s self-titled debut album, due out this Friday.
