Did Ed Sheeran secretly get married – and not invite Taylor Swift?

U.K.’s The Sun reports that Ed and his fiancée Cherry Seaborn got hitched in a hush-hush ceremony on his Suffolk, England estate shortly before Christmas last year. They apparently kept things super low-key – not even Ed’s famous friends were invited.

“Ed got married a few days before Christmas,” a source close to the singer says. “It was very quiet – just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest.”

The source adds, “There were only 40 people – so no Taylor Swift, record company executives or any royals or pop star pals. He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding.”

The two are reportedly planning a “festival-style” party in the summer for anyone who wasn’t invited to the initial ceremony.

“That will be all singing and dancing, and they’ll be able to invite Taylor and their record company colleagues and royal friends,” the source says.

Ed and Cherry got engaged in December 2017. They first met at school in Ed’s hometown of Framlingham, Suffolk, but didn’t start dating until 2015. They celebrated their first anniversary at Taylor’s infamous Fourth of July party in Rhode Island in 2016…the one where Taylor’s ex, Tom Hiddleston, wore that “I Heart TS” shirt.
