A Backstreet Boys Valentine's Day: It's all about the wives

Dennis LeupoldThe Backstreet Boys have recorded some pretty romantic songs over the years, but are the guys romantic in real life? Just ask their wives.

The group tells ABC’s Good Morning America they plan to appreciate their spouses this Valentine’s Day, in spite of their busy recording and performing schedules.

“I’m gonna take my wife out to dinner, but also both my daughters so it’s gonna be a family Valentine’s Day,” AJ McLean says.

Brian Littrell says that while he’ll be in the studio Valentine’s Day morning, he’s made plans with his wife for the evening.

He adds, “We wouldn’t be here without the strong five wives that we have behind us.”

Backstreet Boys are back in Las Vegas to finish out the final dates of their Larger Than Life residency, which wraps up February 23. Then, their DNA World Tour kicks off May 11 in Lisbon, Portugal and reaches North America July 12.
