As Billboard reports, songs by Andy Grammer, Fine Young Cannibals, Bob Dylan, and Ludacris were among those who saw the biggest sales gains thanks to their inclusion in various Super Bowl commercials.
Citing Nielsen Music, Billboard notes that the big winner was Fine Young Cannibals‘ 1989 #1 hit “She Drives Me Crazy,” which experienced a 2,235% sales increase thanks to its inclusion in a T-Mobile Super Bowl ad.
“Stand Up,” a 2003 #1 hit by rapper Ludacris, scored a 1500%-plus sales increase after it was heard in an ad for Mercedes-Benz. Luda himself appeared in the ad as well.
Andy Grammer‘s song “Good to be Alive (Hallelujah)” notched a 530% uptick in sales after being featured in a commercial for Norwegian Cruise Line, while Bob Dylan‘s classic “Blowin’ in the Wind” saw sales increase by 704% after being featured in a Budweiser ad.
