FilmMagic Inc via ABC/Jeff Kravitz/AMA2018On December 14, Post Malone tweeted, “Song before the year ends” — and now he’s made good on that promise.
Posty has dropped a new single, “Wow,” which is his first new solo music since the release of his Grammy-nominated beerbongs & bentleys album earlier this year. Recently, he dropped the Swae Lee collabo “Sunflower,” from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse album.
In “Wow,” Post talks about his incredible success, rapping about “G-wagons,” a “720S bumpin’ Fall Out Boy,” a “750 Lambo,” the “igloo” in his mouth” and having “Hunnid bands in my pocket…Hunnid deep when I roll like the army.”
Noting that some of his fans are coming late to the party, Posty adds, “Before I dropped Stoney none of y’all really cared/Now they always say, “Congratulations,” to the kid/And this is not a 40, but I’m pourin’ out this s***/Used to have a lot, but I got more now/Made another hit ’cause I got bored now.”
It’s not clear if this single is the first release from a new album from the rapper. You can see him perform next week on ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
