Conor McDonnell Ellie Goulding, Diplo and Swae Lee have debuted the regal music video for their collaboration, “Close to Me.”
The visual mainly features Ellie dressed in couture and sporting different makeup looks as she sings at various stunning locations across Budapest, Hungary. Swae pops up to sing his verse in a field surrounded by trees.
“I don’t wanna be somebody without your body/Close to me/And if it wasn’t you, I wouldn’t want anybody/Close to me/‘Cause I’m an animal/like you/And I don’t wanna be somebody without your body/Close to me,” Ellie sings on the track.
The song was released last month and marks Ellie’s first new release since 2017’s “First Time” with Kygo. Her last album, Delirium, came out in 2015.
