Brian ZiffShawn Mendes looks like he’s in need of some “Stitches.”
On his Instagram Story, the Canadian superstar showed off his scraped cheekbone and chin, which he captioned, “Fell off a bird LOL.”
But the caption doesn’t mean that Shawn was riding around on an ostrich or something, despite a number of amusing memes. Apparently, a Bird is a brand of electric scooter that’s available for rental in various cities. It’s not clear which city Shawn took a fall in, but he’s currently in Nashville preparing to tape his episode of CMT Crossroads with country superstars Zac Brown Band.
After that taping, Shawn will next perform at the Grammy Museum in L.A. on September 25, and at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City on September 29.
