Vincent PetersIf you’re a fan of Kelly Clarkson, you know she likes to talk…and talk…and talk. Now, she’s putting that skill to good use, with her own NBC chat show.
Broadcasting & Cable reports that NBC is shooting a talk-show pilot with Kelly that could have its debut in the fall of 2019, if it’s well-received. It’s part of Kelly’s overall talent deal with NBC, but the publication notes that the show could also be offered to non-NBC stations in syndication, or even on an online platform.
The publication also notes that stations will have a suitable time slot available for a possibly Kelly show, since Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show Harry is ending in August.
A few months ago, Kelly hosted the Billboard Music Awards. She returns to The Voice in September.
