Train performs “Call Me Sir” with Cam & Travie McCoy on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Pat Monahan of Train; ABC/Eric McCandlessTrain took to the Jimmy Kimmel Live! outdoor stage on Monday’s show for the television debut of their latest single, “Call Me Sir.”  They were joined by Grammy-nominated country star Cam and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy, both of whom are featured on the track.

Train opened the performance and then frontman Pat Monahan invited Cam onto stage for her verse, followed by McCoy.

The song tells the story of a guy who can’t get anyone to notice him…until he meets the right woman.

“When I ride by myself/I don’t ever get no help/But when I roll up with her/Everybody calls me sir,” Pat sings. “No matter how long I stay/They never ever know my name/But when I walk in with her/Everybody calls me sir.”

Cam sings from the female perspective: “I ain’t goin’ nowhere unless he’s there with me/’Cause I don’t stand in line no more, admission’s always free.”

Then Travie chimes in, “Every time we hit the streets, it’s like a world premiere/She makes me feel like Sia swinging from that chandelier/Went from marginally famous to the top of the A-list.”

Train released “Call Me Sir” May 24.
