Ariana Grande's new single coming April 27

ABC/Randy HolmesWe’re getting new music from Ariana Grande this month.

A source confirms to ABC Radio that April 27 is the release date for the first single from Ari’s upcoming fourth album.  As previously reported, the singer’s new disc was produced half by Pharrell and half by Max Martin, and for the first time, Ariana co-wrote every song.

The disc is said to be Ariana’s most personal work to date, which is no surprise, following a year in which more than 20 people were killed outside her concert in Manchester, England.  Ariana subsequently organized the star-studded One Love Manchester benefit concert, which made her a hero in the U.K.

When the album does arrive, it’ll be the follow-up to 2016’s Dangerous Woman, which produced the hits “Into You,” “Side to Side” and the title track.

Ari’s last major public appearance was performing “Be Alright” at last month’s March For Our Lives gun control rally in Washington, D.C.
