Atlantic RecordsBruno Mars and Cardi B have finessed their way to double platinum status.
Their “Finesse” remix has surpassed two million in sales equivalents, officially earning the track a 2x platinum certification from the RIAA.
Earlier this week, “Finesse” topped the Billboard Pop Songs chart, giving Bruno his ninth number-one on the list. He beat Justin Timberlake to become the male solo artist with the most number-ones on that chart since it started in 1992.
The song’s success even got its own Snapchat filter, which launched last week. The filter featured the ‘90s aesthetic from the “Finesse” music video – which was inspired by In Living Color.
Bruno and Cardi also are offering a limited-edition “Finesse” t-shirt and vinyl, available now on Bruno’s merch website.
