Atlantic RecordsAs we patiently wait for Charlie Puth’s new album, the singer has released a brand new duet with Kehlani called “Done for Me.”
The song, a retro-inspired groove, is about a couple on the verge of a breakup. Each person feels like they’ve given it all to the other, and questions what they’ve gotten in return.
“I’d lie for you, baby/Die for you, baby/Cry for you, baby/But tell me what you’ve done for me?” Charlie sings on the chorus.
“Done for Me” will appear on Charlie’s upcoming sophomore album, Voicenotes. The album is set for a May 11 release, after being pushed back from January.
