Jiro-SchneiderPentatonix has released the video for their a cappella mash-up of Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” and Aaliyah‘s 1998 hit, “Are You That Somebody?”
The group harmonizes and beatboxes while sitting in a fancy hotel room overlooking a city skyline. Scott Hoying takes the lead on the verses and the rest join in on the chorus.
The song is featured on the group’s upcoming new album, PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. 1. The album comes out April 13 and is available for pre-order now.
This summer, Pentatonix will take those songs on the road when they embark on a 39-city North American tour beginning in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 12. The tour runs through September 16.
