Austin HargravesA little more than a year ago, music fans were surprised by the release of a duet between Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik: “I Don’t Want to Live Forever,” from the movie Fifty Shades Darker. Well, now it appears Liam Payne is getting a crack at a soundtrack song for the racy movie franchise.
Liam has posted a photo of himself posing with Rita Ora, along with the hashtag #FiftyShadesFreed. Rita just happens to be part of the cast of the Fifty Shades movies. Fifty Shades Freed, the third installment, is coming out in February.
Liam getting involved with the Fifty Shades franchise is probably a good move. “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” ended up hitting #2 on the chart and earning Taylor and the song’s other co-writers a Golden Globe nod.
The soundtrack for the first Fifty Shades movie was even more successful, producing two massive hits: “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding and The Weeknd’s “Earned It.” “Earned It” got an Oscar nomination and won The Weeknd a Grammy, while Ellie’s song got a Golden Globe nod and won her a Grammy.
