LAVA/Republic RecordsLorde‘s new album Melodrama features a song called “The Louvre,” and a fan actually hung a vinyl copy of the record in the famed French art museum.
“Hey @lorde, I hung Melodrama in the Louvre!” wrote Twitter user @NinaRichard_, who also posted photographic evidence of the heroic deed. She added that she had to “do it very quickly cause security started to watch me and hunt down on me.” The post had received nearly 3,000 retweets as of 11:30 a.m. ET.
Lorde herself hasn’t yet responded to the tweet — perhaps she’s too busy celebrating Melodrama‘s nomination for Album of the Year for the 60th annual Grammy Awards. We’ll she if she wins January 28.
