Taylor Swift revealed the cover art and tracklist for her 12th studio album “The Life of a Showgirl”, which will be released on October 3. The tracklist also noted that Sabrina Carpenter will be featured on ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, the title track to the new LP.

Swift shared the news on her social media channels, as well as during her appearance on Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce.

Swift’s Instagram post was captioned: “And, baby, that’s show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3. Album Producers: Max Martin, Shellback and Taylor Swift 📸: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott”. Martin and Shellback are the team behind some of Swift’s biggest 1989 and Reputation hit songs.

When speaking about the making the album, Swift shared on the ‘New Heights’ podcast that “It was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on The Eras Tour. I would be playing shows. I’d do like three shows in a row. I’d have three days off. I’d fly to Sweden, go back to the tour. Actually like working on this, I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be created.”

Variants of the 12-track “The Life of a Showgirl” are available for preorder on Swift’s website, including: four limited edition deluxe CD versions, containing a keychain, necklace, or bracelet; collectible artwork; three double-sided photo cards; and a colored glitter jewelry box, all contained in a high gloss box featuring the front and back cover album artwork. The limited edition deluxe CDs are available until August 16th, while supplies last.

The Life of a Showgirl marks Swift’s first full-length since 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department, which spent 17 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
