Getty Images via ABCRihanna is getting a street named after her, right in her childhood neighborhood of Bridgetown, Barbados.
Local Barbadian newspaper Nation News reports the singer and Fenty Beauty cosmetics mogul will be honored on Barbados’ Independence Day, Thursday, November 30, when Westbury New Road will be changed to Rihanna Drive.
RiRi grew up on Westbury New Road in the St. Michael parish of Bridgetown.
The new street name will be revealed by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and Rihanna at a two-hour event.
