The singer has received two huge plaques commemorating his success. One recognizes The Weeknd for being the only artist to earn a 2X multi-platinum album in the last year that also includes four platinum or higher songs.
The album, of course, is Starboy. The title track went platinum five times, “I Feel It Coming” went double platinum, and “Party Monster” and “Reminder” both went platinum.
The Weeknd also received a plaque for scoring 11 platinum or multi-platinum certified songs during the past five years.
