Miley Cyrus joins James Corden for “Carpool Karaoke”

Terence Patrick ©2017 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights ReservedOn Tuesday night’s The Late Late Show with James Corden, host James Corden found himself stuck in traffic once again and called on his pal Miley Cyrus to help him use the carpool lane as the pair joked and belted out Miley hits around Los Angeles in the latest edition of Carpool Karaoke.

The pair got right down to business with a duet of “We Can’t Stop” before Miley shared a story about what a terrible driver she is.

She confessed that she’d shattered the back window of a rental car backing into the sound trailer after a day on The Voice. But she left and didn’t tell anyone. The next day, she said, she got busted because she told the story to co-hosts Adam Levine and Blake Shelton but forgot she was miked.

Next, they sang “The Climb,” and when Miley stuck her tongue out at the end, James made use of it by having her lick stamps. Then they went into “Party in the USA.”

After a passionate version of “Younger Now,” the two had a funny exchange where James asked her if she was high during various moments in her career. Miley said she was “high as hell” during the “Wrecking Ball” video taping, which transitioned into the two of them belting out the song.

Miley admitted she really cried in that video and the two of them tried to make themselves cry, only to fail, laughing. After that, they sang the perky “Malibu.”

Miley Cyrus’ new album, Younger Now, was released on September 29.

The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
