Dennis LeupoldIf a new trailer is to be believed, no topic is off-limits in Demi Lovato’s upcoming YouTube documentary, Simply Complicated.
The trailer, which will stream on YouTube on October 17, features footage of Demi at every stage of her career, interspersed with new interviews with her and her team. They discuss everything from her breakup with Wilmer Valderrama, to her drug addiction, to the notorious incident where she punched one of her backup singers.
The film will also cover Demi’s battle with an eating disorder, her struggle to get sober while serving as a judge on The X Factor, what it’s like to be single for the first time in her adult life and more. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her new album Tell Me You Love Me.
At the start of the trailer, Demi says to the camera, “I actually had anxiety over this interview. I don’t know what everyone’s gonna think.” But, she adds, “One thing I’ll never stop doing is being honest. And that’s the best I can do.”
