Miley Cyrus to perform exclusively for front like workers at TikTok Tailgate Super Bowl pre-show

ABC/Gilles MingassonThe Weeknd won’t be the only artist bringing star power to Super Bowl LV.  It was announced over the weekend that Miley Cyrus will perform exclusively for 7,500 “health care heroes” that the NFL personally invited to watch the big game.

Local and national health care employees who worked the front line during the COVID-19 pandemic and are also fully inoculated against the infectious virus will also enjoy the NFL’s first-ever TikTok Tailgate pre-show.

The 28-year-old “Midnight Sky” singer excitedly announced the special performance on Sunday by sharing a mock up of her performance poster and writing, “I’ll be there for TIKTOK TAILGATE!!! I can’t wait to put on a show for the NFL’s honored guests before the game… Health care workers from Tampa and around the country!”

The NFL further announced via its official Instagram page, “@mileycyrus will be at Super Bowl LV to perform at the first-ever #TikTokTailgate – the NFL’s pregame event for the 7,500 vaccinated health care heroes who have been invited to attend #SBLV.”

The tailgate party airs Sunday, February 7, beginning at 2:30 pm ET.  Those unable to personally attend will be able to catch Cyrus’ performance live on the TikTok app and also on CBS.

Besides Cyrus and The Weeknd rocking out at Raymond James Stadium in two weeks, the two teams vying for the Vince Lombardi Trophy will be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, for a second year in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs.
