Peggy Sirota The Jonas Brothers taped an epic performance in Asbury Park, NJ, Sunday which will be shown on tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards.
According to NJ.com, Jersey natives Nick, Joe and Kevin first took the stage at Asbury Park’s legendary Stone Pony bar to perform their hit “Sucker” and their new single, “Only Human.” The trio then moved outside to Asbury Park’s famous boardwalk, where their performance culminated in a fireworks display.
Once the VMAs segment was shot, they sang several more songs in a mini-concert for the more than 8,000 fans who turned up.
“See you on TV tomorrow!” Joe told the crowd.
The VMAs air live tonight from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
