Gaga’s Oscar-nominated turn as Ally has just received a nod for Best Performance in a Movie at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which will air June 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with host Zachary Levi.
Her competition includes Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek, who won the Best Actor Oscar for his role as Queen singer Freddie Mercury, as well as Sandra Bullock for Bird Box, Amandla Stenberg for The Hate U Give and Lupita Nyong’o for Us.
No other music stars are nominated for MTV awards this year; the documentary RBG, Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones lead all nods with four apiece.
