The former American Idol contestant and MTV star posted on Instagram that Taylor couldn’t make his 34th birthday party, so she decided to surprise him with homemade treats and a designer gift instead.
“OMG the old Taylor couldn’t come to the birthday party tonight cuz she had to fly out,” Todrick writes. “So she HAND MADE me my favorite thing in the world, homemade cinna-stix for the party & surprised me with the BEATEST MOST SICKENING GAGGETROCIOUS suit jacket I have ever seen!”
The suit jacket was Alexander McQueen and Todrick says he had been trying it on for the last three weeks.
“I legit COULD NOT BREATHE when I saw the gift,” he continues. “I will be wearing this to every event I go to for the next year thanx to my BFF/Fairy Godmother.”
He posted a series of photos of himself and Taylor and the cinna-stix she made. Taylor even spelled out in icing, “Todrick loves cinna-stix. I [heart] Todrick,” on the desserts.
Todrick first met Taylor backstage at one of her tour stops back in 2015, after he made a viral mash-up video singing her songs. He appeared in the video for her #1 hit “Look What You made Me Do.”
