People reports Brian Littrell’s 16-year-old son, Baylee Littrell, will be opening for the group during the North American leg of their DNA World Tour this summer.

“Since I was 6 years old, my dream has always been to go on tour,” Baylee, a country artist, tells People. “I wanted to do what my dad did…It’s a dream come true.”

Baylee released his first single “Don’t Knock It” in November and plans to release his debut album this summer.

“We’ve been developing this for the past year and my parents have been with me every step of the way,” Baylee says. “My mom, who’s my manager, she’s been working so hard and my dad has been there helping out with everything.”

The Backstreet Boys world tour begins May 11 in Portugal, and heads to North American on July 12.
