Republic Records/UMGAriana Grande’s “7 Rings” has just become her longest-running number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
According to Billboard, the song tops the chart for its eighth week, surpassing her previous number one hit “thank u, next,” which reigned for seven weeks starting in November.
Later today, Ariana and her friend and collaborator Victoria Monet have promised to release a new duet called “Monopoly.” Last week, they teased the release, saying they would be dropping the song in celebration of “7 Rings” spending eight weeks at number one..
“we need to celebrate tbh ! life too short and too sweet rn. Hmmmmmmm,” Ariana tweeted.
Elsewhere on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Post Malone claims the number two and number three spots with his solo hit “Wow.” and “Sunflower,” featuring Swae Lee.
Halsey‘s “Without Me” is at number four, while Cardi B and Bruno Mars‘ “Please Me” rounds out the top five.
