Ryan McGinleyJustin Timberlake will soon be singing “Can’t Stop the Spinning!” A new game show he executive-produced called Spin the Wheel debuts this summer on Fox.
The show, hosted by Dax Shepard, gives contestants the chance to win huge cash prizes of up to $20 million, and is described as “a suspenseful, high-energy mix of pop culture trivia, strategy and simple whirling luck.” Gameplay features contestants deciding whether to “spin the wheel” one more time, or simply walk away.
No word on whether or not Justin will be appearing on the show at any point. It debuts Thursday, June 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Meanwhile, another show with a connection to a chart-topping singer and actor returns to Fox in May for a third season: Beat Shazam. Jamie Foxx hosts the “name that tune” competition, with his daughter Corinne Foxx serving as the deejay. That premieres May 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
And if you want to watch a music-related show hosted by a chart-topping singer and actor on a different network, Songland, a new music competition series executive-produced by Adam Levine, will premiere on NBC May 28, right after the return of America’s Got Talent.
21st Century Fox is now a part of Disney, ABC’s parent company.
