Andrew Benge/RedfernsJessie J is receiving all kinds of loving messages for her 31st birthday today, but perhaps none as special as the ones she got from boyfriend Channing Tatum.
On Instagram, the actor posted a black-and-white photo of Jessie with sunbeams illuminating her face, and penned a sweet tribute to his new love.
“Wishing you the happiest day filled with all the love and all the light,” he wrote. “You came into this world on this day and lit it on fire. You have blessed our eyes, our ears, our hearts and our lives.”
He added, “So thank you for just being you. You are so very special. Happy birthday Baby.”
Jessie posted a birthday message for herself on Instagram Wednesday as well. She wrote, “My only wish for my 31st birthday is… To be better,” and went on to list all the things she’s striving to be better at this year. Among them: “Opening my heart to love,” “Putting myself first” and “loving my body shape.”
Jessie and Channing were first linked back in October. Tatum split with wife Jenna Dewan in April of last year.
