ABC/Craig SjodinKaty Perry wants a fairytale wedding…literally.U.K.’s The Sun reports that Katy is planning to wed Orlando Bloom at Disney World.
“Money is no object when it comes to bringing the bride’s fantasies to life,” a source tells The Sun. “She wants to exchange vows at Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World in Florida.”
The source added, “She is busily planning the wedding of her dreams and is taking charge of the creative side.”
Katy’s been a longtime Disney fan – she even helped induct Minnie Mouse onto the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year. It also doesn’t hurt that Disney owns ABC, the network which airs Katy’s show American Idol.
Katy and Orlando got engaged on Valentine’s Day, after Orlando proposed during a helicopter ride. On Sunday night’s season premiere of American Idol, she revealed that they first met during the Golden Globes a few years ago, when she had her security guard buy a bunch of In-n-Out burgers for her table, and he came by and stole one.
