Dave MeyersJust based on her last name alone, it was probably only a matter of time before Ariana Grande teamed up with Starbucks.
The singer and the coffee chain took to social media Monday to tease a possible collaboration launching on Tuesday.
Ariana tagged Starbucks in a tweet featuring cloud emojis, a coffee emoji and a heart, with the date “3/5.” Starbucks tweeted an almost identical series of emojis. The chain also posted a series of cloud photos and a quiz called “What’s Your Cloud Name?”
Ariana has long been a fan of cloud imagery: Not only does she have a cloud tattoo, but her latest signature fragrance is called Cloud.
While nothing has been confirmed, some users posted on Twitter that two new cloud-themed drinks are coming to Starbucks.
“For everyone asking about @ArianaGrande and @Starbucks tweet.. the new caramel cloud and cinnamon lemon cloud macchiatos come tomorrow,” one person tweeted, along with an alleged photo of one of the new drinks. “They can be made iced or hot but I prefer em hot.”
If true, there’s only one size fans should be ordering: Grande, of course.
