ABC/Rick RowellYou saw Adam Lambert rock the Oscars stage with Queen on Sunday, but now you can see him deliver a stripped-down performance of his own new song, “Feel Something.”
The singer released a live performance video featuring him singing the emotional tune at Henson Recording Studio in Los Angeles.
“Feel Something,” a reflective ballad about love and loss, is a preview of Adam’s upcoming album. The first “official” single from the album is due this spring.
In a lengthy message to fans last week, Adam explained the inspiration behind the song: “This was written about me climbing out of the low period, defying my disillusionment, owning my needs, and opening my heart.”
He continued, “The life of a bachelor can be a laugh, with plenty of flings, but after a while it starts to feel empty. Between frustrations with my career and many lost connections, I felt numb—and though I wanted to fall in love, I knew I wasn’t ready.”
