School Boy/Interscope RecordsCarly Rae Jepsen is giving us a one-two punch of new music.
The singer has debuted two new songs, “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me.” Both songs will appear on her forthcoming new album, due out later this year.
“’Now That I Found You’ is about the high you get when a new love starts to change your life,” Carly says in a statement. “It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug.”
The song was first previewed in a teaser for Netflix’s Queer Eye.
Carly says “No Drug Like Me” is “a promise I made to love in general,” adding that the promise is “that when the good stuff lands my way I’ll always try to be vulnerable and brave and show all of myself.”
Carly’s last album, the critically acclaimed EMOTION, was released in 2015.
