ABC/Rick RowellWhat’s it like to stand on the podium at the Academy Awards and win your first Oscar? For Lady Gaga, it involved some serious flashbacks.
On Tuesday, Gaga posted a photo of herself in her Oscar gown, sitting on a staircase and clutching her statuette, with a rapturous look on her face. “A moment in my life I will never forget,” she wrote. “My whole artistic journey flashed before my eyes.”
Gaga and her three co-writers won the Best Original Song category for “Shallow.”
“Thank you to the Academy and to the gentlemen who wrote and performed this song with me,” she added.
Earlier, the singer had posted a photo of herself and Bradley Cooper sitting at the piano after their much-buzzed-about performance on the telecast.
“Nothing could be more special than sharing this moment at the Oscars with a true friend and artistic genius,” she captioned the image.
While the internet won’t stop talking about how Gaga and Cooper truly appeared to be in love with each other during the performance, Cooper’s girlfriend Irina Shayk is reportedly unbothered by all the rumors that the co-stars are more than friends.
A source tells Us Weekly, “Irina knows that Bradley and Gaga are artists. It’s a nonissue for her. They were in character putting on an Oscar performance.”
In fact, Irina, the mother of Cooper’s 23-month-old daughter, joined the crowd in giving the two a standing ovation; she was also seen hugging Gaga warmly when the singer returned to her seat.
